Fishing:

There is great fishing for the avid fisherman with an abundance of muskie, bass, walleye, northern pike, large crappies, jumbo perch, rock bass, blue gills and sturgeon. Motor trolling is permitted on Round Lake and Pike Lakes. There are two large piers to safely dock your boat, or use one of ours. (We rent 14 foot Alumacraft boats, 16 and 17 foot fishing boats as well as a fishing pontoon - we also offer bait (nightcrawlers and leeches)There are two boat ramp access launches, one next to the resort. A screened fish-cleaning house with running water and electricity ensures proper care of your catch. Spring and Fall offer the best fishing and, of course, ice fishing for the cold weather fisherman.
Water Sports
Our safe and sandy beach has a very gradual slope with no drop-offs. A beach-side deck with lounge furniture, sand toys and a floating raft provide fun for the swimmer, relaxation for the sunner and a great place to watch the children play. Water skiing and other motorized water sports are allowed from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Nature Lovers
Hiking/biking trails, covered bridge, Tucker Lake preserve, spectacular fall colors, wild life including eagles, osprey, deer, raccoons, chipmunks, fox, coyote, bear, and rabbits are just a few of things to enjoy in the forest.
All-Terrain Vehicles
Many miles of well-marked trails (maps available) through the Chequamegon National Forest provide the rider with beautiful scenery of pine trees, water, wildlife and fun. The trail begins at our door.
Hunting
Price County has 260,000 acres that are open for deer, bear, grouse, ducks and snowshoe hunting. The hunter can walk for miles along trails through the forest without worrying about "no hunting" signs. Park Falls is the "Ruffed Grouse Capital of the World" and deer are abundant for both rifle and bow hunters.
Snowmobiling
Snowmobile enthusiasts will discover the best kept secret in the north woods; we are in the center of an outstanding network of trails groomed and maintained by Price County Snowmobile Association, Snowdrovers, Minoqua Forest Riders and other member clubs. Through the forests, over frozen lakes and along certain roads, the snowmobiler can enjoy the best rides ever experienced and an abundance of stops along the way to dine, gas up or enjoy the company of other snowmobile enthusiasts. The trail begins at your door and we provide maps, rental assistance, and participate in the local snowmobile clubs to assure your riding adventure is excellent. Cross Country Skiing
Nine cross-country ski trails, including the Round Lake Wilderness Study Area, offer a variety of challenges for the beginner or experienced skier. The terrain is rolling and wooded and frequented by deer and other wildlife, offering the skier a beautiful experience in the northern forest.
Other Activities
Golf, horseback riding, shopping, Lake of the Torches Casino, theaters, entertainment and dining are all within a twenty to thirty minute drive. There are five restaurants on the chain including The Wild Goose Pub and Grill and others just a few miles away. There are several denominations of churches a short trip from the resort.
